Welcome to the Asset Disposal & Information Security Alliance

Launched in October 2010, the Asset Disposal and Information Security Alliance (ADISA) is a group of leading experts on the area risk management, compliance and data protection within the area of IT Asset Disposal.

The primary ADISA objective is to highlight the IT security risk within the asset disposal process and to work with all parties to help improve service quality, raise professionalism and ensure data is protected by an acceptable sanitisation process.

ADISA offers services to both the service providers and end user community.

1 – For companies providing IT Asset Disposal / Recovery services.

  • ADISA has developed a security standard for IT Asset Disposal companies which focusses on the how the company processing the equipment ensures that the asset, and therefore the data, is managed and protected throughout the process until the data itself is sanitised. This is a non-country specific standard and is audited by our UKAS accredited global partner SGS (www.sgs.com).

2 – For end users ADISA also offers a series of consulting services.

  • Tender Review
  • Policy Review
  • ADISA Test (AD Test)
  • New training course in conjunction with University of Glamorgan.

ADISA is supported by our advisory council and by relationships with both UK, and other government bodies.
